Great for a preshow dinner, 09-06-2010
Review:I went with a group of four to Coopers Tavern before a weekday show at the Overturecenter. The place was full but not crowded. They have a great selection of beer and a nice atmosphere. I had the cottage pie, which is essentially a think lamb stew with carrots, peas, onions, and a large scoop of mashed potatoes. It was a hearty filling dish with good flavor, although the lamb was a little on the tough side. A fried ordered the Polenta which we all agreed was possibly the best we had every had. Service was friendly and responsive and the dishes responably priced.
