Review:With my wife as 20-year customers, and long-time Madison residents with a taste for good food, the food is consistently as good or better than anyone's, the service of quality, and the menu variety for most tastes. The lunches and weekend breakfasts and daily specials are especially good values. Great parking. Full-bodied drinks. Friendly, personal service. Lots of long-time patrons. Big screen TVs. Sports oriented. The place to go near downtown Madison. What's not to like?

Review:We have been going to Avenue Bar for years. Their steaks are great and they have one of the best fish fries in the city. The atmosphere is very comfortable as well.
